Colomendy

Colomendy, Ysceifiog, Flintshire

Colomendy is a 17th century gentry house. It is a stone-built with two storeys and is situated in a fairly isolated position, on the north-facing slope of Penycloddiau, one of the numerous Iron Age hillforts of the Clwydian Hills. It gets its name from the dovecot which is within the attic of one of the farm buildings. It is a Grade II* listed building.
