34 Castle Street, Beaumaris

Castle Street in Beaumaris has a number of interesting houses, one of them 34 Castle Street is a substantial house on the corner of Castle Street and Church Street. It seems to have been a house of some importance, possibly a first floor hall house. It is on three storeys with a cellar. The house belonged to the Bulkeleys of Baron Hill until the great sale of property and assets in 1920.  Dendrochronology has dated timbers to 1482/3.
